Times Review News Properties
As part of their mission to provide quality news media to the communities of the North Fork on Long Island, the Times Review partnered with CMYK to bring their web platforms up-to-date, making them more responsive to a changing user base (and screen size), better and more holistically designed, and easier for their editors and administrators to maintain and keep updated throughout the day.CHECK IT OUT
Black Mountain Institute
After the successful completion of our redesign of The Believer Magazine website, which was nominated for a 2019 Webby Award, we were thrilled to continue to explore and experiment with the BMI site itself. Translating their new identity into the digital space was an exercise in playful presentation, and allowed for many opportunities for micro-animations and colorful interactions, from neon-glowing hover states on hyperlinks to high-fidelity photography of the Institute’s Fellows and visiting artists.CHECK IT OUT
Mercado Little Spain
Mercado Little Spain is the newest venture from renowned chef, entrepreneur, and philanthropist José Andrés, and his first ever in CMYK’s hometown of New York City. Andrés has restaurants all across the globe and is well-known for his charitable work throughout Latin America, Africa, and the United States, so we made sure to provide him with our warmest of welcomes—that is, a beautifully designed website, of course!CHECK IT OUT

The Believer is a literary magazine and five-time National Magazine Award finalist celebrating over ten years of continuous publication. Their exceptional content, contributors, and illustrations have made it one of the most well-known and highly-lauded publications in the literary community. As one of the magazine’s founding editors wrote in the first issue, the purpose of The Believer is to encourage readers and writers to “reach beyond their usual notions of what is accessible or possible,” and we took this message to heart in designing a new website for them that would capture their playful, passionate eccentricity.CHECK IT OUT
