Project Intro

VidCon is where digital culture takes center stage as 50,000 of the world’s leading digital creators, platform innovators, and fans come together to make friends, expand their reach, and make groundbreaking industry exchanges.

After a full rebrand in 2021, VidCon trusted CMYK to support their marketing and social media teams and explore new and unique expressions of their branding through the creation of fresh content for paid digital media, organic social content, on-site stage announcements, and paid OOH (out of home) media including Time Square billboards leading up to VidCon Anaheim and Baltimore 2023.

Tapping into VidCon’s vast archive of content from years past, we produced themed videos for holidays and even an April Fools Day TikTok ad that tricked viewers into thinking VidCon tickets had sold out before reassuring them that tickets would actually go on sale at a later date.

Working closely with the VidCon marketing and social media teams, CMYK led the creative process from ideation through storyboarding, design, illustration, and animation to delivery. This not only provided a steady supply of eye-catching marketing content but also an ongoing brand exploration through the development of fresh expressions and assets.
