Ford Foundation is one of the largest and most well-known charitable organizations in the United States, with a philanthropic history that stretches back more than eight decades. For an organization that is so entrenched in the public consciousness, the question then becomes: how do they attract fresh attention from younger groups of donors and activists alike? How do they reach beyond their usual network and patrons and gain fresh audiences?

Believer Magazine
The Believer is a literary magazine and five-time National Magazine Award finalist celebrating over ten years of continuous publication. Their exceptional content, contributors, and illustrations have made it one of the most well-known and highly-lauded publications in the literary community. As one of the magazine’s founding editors wrote in the first issue, the purpose of The Believer is to encourage readers and writers to “reach beyond their usual notions of what is accessible or possible,” and we took this message to heart in designing a new website for them that would capture their playful, passionate eccentricity.

The New Now
Every year, Moët Hennessey gathers their North American team for a large conference to provide updates on their product offerings, share individual and team goals and wins, and generally discuss the large assortment of the goings-on at the company over the past year. In 2020, however, this tradition became somewhat more complicated as the staff was grounded and large in-person gatherings canceled—but the show still needed to go on, somehow.

Mercado Little Spain is the newest venture from renowned chef, entrepreneur, and philanthropist José Andrés, and his first ever in CMYK’s hometown of New York City. Andrés has restaurants all across the globe and is well-known for his charitable work throughout Latin America, Africa, and the United States, so we made sure to provide him with our warmest of welcomes—that is, a beautifully designed website, of course!
