Project Intro
With so many irons in the fire, award-winning chef and TV host, Pati Jinich, was in need of a platform that could bring everything together, both for her existing audience and in order to capture new attention. To do this, she enlisted CMYK to design and develop a new home for her many writings, recipes, and video content.

Prior to the redesign process, Pati’s online footprint was just that—a disconnected trail of impressions across the web, with a recipe site here, a blog of food writing there, and no place to store multimedia content.
To solve for this, we pulled all existing content from her various sites and combined it into a single, integrated database, while also building out a robust video library.
As part of this process, we also reimagined the layouts for existing content. Recipes we’re updated to make it easier for visitors to read and navigate, as well as search engines to index. A smart search was added with filtering capabilities to allow users to hone in on content by ingredient, dish, meal, cook time, and even which episode of Pati’s Mexican Table that dish was featured in! It’s never been easier to find the food you’re looking for.
Pero y si solo hablo español, you ask? Well, that’s easy: just click a button and be connected to the Spanish language site, complete with all recipes, interactive elements, and multimedia content—no easy task for such a richly featured website! But that’s what happens when you pair award-winning content with a team of award-winning designers and developers: a beautiful, highly-functional, and (hopefully) award-winning website.
