DXC is a multinational internet technology company born from the merger of two distinct brands, and in search of their own identity and brand expression. To help them along their way, CMYK was engaged to design and produce a series of both internal and client-facing animated videos that explore and explain DXC’s service offerings and introduce the updated company profile to the world.
Working with illustrator and motion graphics artist James Kwan, we developed an animated sequence that shows visually and intuitively the vast number of products and services that DXC offers and how they all relate as one connected experience for their customers. This video served not only as a one-off project, but also generated a series of assets that the company could use across their digital platform and in marketing and sales materials, as a way to convey their value to a wide range of people.
From there, we moved onto a brand introduction video that emphasizes feelings of excitement and anticipation, as the video moves with great agility through a series of revamped mission statements to a powerful logo and tagline reveal, using a combination of traditional 2D motion graphics with 3D rendered animations developed with Houdini and RedShift software
