Gaurav Kapadia

A personal site built for ideas in motion.

Project Intro

Gaurav Kapadia is not your finance genius. He’s part operator, part curator, part cultural antenna. He moves just as comfortably through boardrooms as he does through the worlds of design, literature, and art. When he approached CMYK, he wasn’t looking for another “founder website.” He wanted a digital presence that reflected his sensibility: sharp, modern, and unmistakably his.

Our task: build a site that behaves less like a résumé and more like a living expression of taste.

The Results

  • 3min Avg. time spent on the site on all users
  • 100% Mobile interaction compatible

Challenge

Gaurav is private, but influential. He wanted a digital presence that communicated credibility without falling into corporate language. He also wanted the site to have a sense of personality and play. The question became how to build something polished and refined that still felt alive and interactive.

Approach

We created a minimal, editorial layout with clean typography and generous white space. The design is quiet and confident, which lets his story and his interests become the focus.

To bring movement and texture into the experience, we built added a physics engine for as a way to navigate the site. Visitors can move, toss, and rearrange the books as if they were physical objects. This interaction creates moments of play and discovery while reflecting the curiosity that drives his work.
