INTRO

Northforker Magazine is the Times Review Media Group’s print and digital lifestyle publication, covering all that’s worth seeing and doing on the North Fork of Long Island and its surrounding regions, from brewery and vineyard tours, to new restaurant openings and open houses, to local community events.

When approaching our redesign of the Northforker digital platform, we looked to their print magazine for inspiration and arrived at a look-and-feel that takes full advantage of their high-fidelity photography, allowing them to take center stage and shine against a simple white background. We further worked to successfully translate the flow of content and articles from the print publication into a new digital home that is enjoyed by many tens of thousands of users each month.

Aside from a new design for the site, we prioritized developing an updated ad strategy that allowed for a dramatic increase in available inventory for their sales team to book against and consolidating the back-end of all Times Review sites into a single WordPress multi-site account, allowing editors to move seamlessly throughout all properties to post and edit content.
