Warner Music Group (WMG) is an organization that hardly needs an introduction—an international entertainment company and record label, WMG can trace its history back decades and has been instrumental in launching and fostering the careers of some of the greatest artists of the century, both historical and contemporary.
Having recently refreshed their corporate identity, WMG was in need of a way to broadly and effectively communicate the new brand to their staff and stakeholders spread across the country, working from numerous offices and remotely. And as experts in video production, CMYK was a natural partner to help them achieve their goals.
Filming on-location with talent in New York City and Los Angeles, CMYK created a series of video segments to be woven together into a larger brand reveal presentation, walking through the story of WMG and the development of their new identity. Managing all aspects of the production process, we sourced and set-up equipment, managed talent and sets, and captured and edited footage into impactful and cohesive final products. Additionally, we worked with new brand assets and guidelines to create an ecosystem of motion graphics to overlay upon the live-action video to more effectively introduce speakers, communicate narrative elements, and introduce updated logos, design collateral, elements, and exciting new applications of color.
